On September 3rd 2024 Catholics from the Archdiocese of Brisbane joined over 1000 Brisbane citizens for the Queensland Community Alliance – QLD’s Maroonprint Assembly at St John’s Cathedral, Brisbane.

Important negotiations with Steven Miles and David Crisafulli MP led to a number of solid commitments in preparation for the state election.

The CJPC, as a member of the Queensland Community Alliance, supports the need for community action. This assembly demonstrated how the voices for the common good can be amplified when professionally joined together for policy that addresses social and environmental justice.
