A group of citizens concerned about the way the Federal Government is preparing to restore the application of the Racial Discrimination Act in the Northern Territory have asked people to send letters of concern to Professor James Anaya, the U N Rapporteur for Human Rights who will be visiting Australia in the second half of August.
Anyone who wishes to add their name to the letter can do so by opening the files for long version or short version, inserting their name and indicated particulars and emailing it to harrisme@bigpond.com All such replies will be printed by Michele ( to be added to the collection of hard copies to be presented to Prof. Anaya ).
This should be done by 15 August.
